Thank you to the parents and guardians who attended our Catholic School Council elections meeting on Monday, September 27th.

The purpose of the Catholic School Council is, through the active participation of parents, to improve pupil achievement and to be a voice in promoting the mission of Catholic education within the school community. The CSC is an advisory group who works in collaboration with the Principal.

Congratulations to our Catholic School Council Executive for the 2021-2022 school year! All parents and guardians are welcome to attend CSC meetings. The next Catholic School Council meeting will be Wednesday, October 13th at 6:30 pm. If you would like to attend this meeting, please send an email to hnom@hwcdsb.ca and a TEAMS meeting invitation will be sent to you that day.

Catholic School Council is an opportunity for parent/guardians to be involved in their child's education in a unique way! The Catholic School Council (formerly Parent Council) is comprised of parent/guardians, teaching and non-teaching staff members, and community partners. It serves as an advisory body to the school's Principal.

It is the responsibility of the Catholic School Council to ensure that the Mission and Vision of the Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic District School Board are supported and promoted by the Catholic School Council.

The first Catholic School Council meeting and the election of members to the 2021-2022 council will take place Monday, September 27, 2021 at 6:30 pm. This will be a virtual meeting. If you are interested in attending, please email hnom@hwcdsb.ca.

Catholic School Council is a rewarding way to be actively involved in your child's educational experience at Holy Name of Mary Catholic Elementary School.
