In this, the third online workshop for parents/guardians, HWCDSB educators will explore the role that technology plays in accessing the abilities of all people
Join us on Thursday, June 11, 2020 as we explore the powerful assistive features that are built into iPad to support vision, hearing, motor skills, learning and literacy.
In this hands-on session we will:
• explore features such as Speak Screen, Safari Reader, and Speech Controller enable reading fluency, comprehension, and composition for every learning style.
• demonstrate iPad tools that allow for multi-modal communication
• discuss ways that technology can be used to overcome barriers in digital communication
At the conclusion of the session, participants will be provided with access to resources for accessing ongoing support.
