Communities, boards of education, and schools across Ontario are encouraged to dress in purple on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 to collectively speak up and share the message that child abuse and neglect can be prevented. On Dress Purple Day (Oct. 24), purple is worn to remind everybody that all children need to be safe and that the “village” needs to work together to look after children.

This is a voluntary activity, and if a purple shirt and civies' bottoms are not worn, please wear full uniform.
